Join with hundreds of volunteers as we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of National Rebuilding Day in Aurora! In 25 years, Rebuilding Together volunteers have repaired over 1,000 homes and this year we invite you to join us in April as we kick off the 2018 season and repair 100 more homes.
Join Rebuilding Together Aurora, the City of Aurora and volunteers from across the region as we complete projects including exterior painting, landscaping, gardening and light repairs for senior citizens and install solar powered LED lights to help make Aurora neighborhoods safer.
Please join us on National Rebuilding Day weekend as hundreds of Rebuilding Together affiliates across the U.S. with thousands of volunteers work to beautify their local neighborhoods and cities. Here in Aurora volunteers will be preforming safe and healthy home repairs for homeowners in need, providing beautification efforts for partnering community organizations, kick starting the Marie Wilkinson Community Garden for it's next season, and helping our environment by teaming up with Friends on the Fox to help clean up our river. Work days will start at 8:00 am and will go to 4:00 pm. A morning rally will kick off the volunteer day on the 29th at North Gate (west side of Aurora) before volunteers disperse to the projects. The City of Aurora is partnering with Rebuilding Together Aurora on April 8th to help make our neighborhoods safer and more energy efficient by forming roaming volunteer crews to install a motion sensor exterior light on the exterior of pre-selected homes. This day of service is city wide and we welcome all to come join us!
